Seka ("Little Sister" in Croatian) was designed by Tad Roberts and built by the Silva Bay Boat Building School. This is the only school around teaching traditional plank-on-frame small boatbuilding. Normally the boats are built by a team of three students and led by an instructor, but it happened this year that one of
the students scheduled to build Seka was unable to attend. Since we really wanted her built, a local professional boatbuilder, Trevor Henderson, assisted the two students, Simon Matijasevic and Craig Dickinson.

In the shop in Friday night, the orange sticker says "Saturday Delivery"! Note the beautiful BMW diesel engine, 20 years old and never been started. Another great find on eBay.
The boat was displayed on land prior to launching....
Inspecting the handiwork: Scott, Dale Spaven of Classic Welding & Fabrication, and Uncle Bob:

And away she goes, Simon in the bow, Craig in the stern, and Trevor at the helm!
