Aft deck
You board Island Eagle through boarding gates port and starboard. The planked teak aft deck is about 8 x 12 feet, so it's an extremely roomy place to just hang out. There is a heavy-duty welded aluminum swim ladder that fits over the side, perfect for kids. The aft deck has doors and a hatch directly into the master stateroom.
The aft deck is also equipped with a VERY heavy duty towing bit and aft fairlead.

Foredeck
Nice, wide teak side decks lead forward port and starboard from the aft deck. There are two steps up at the forward end of the master stateroom. There are two additional hawseholes in the upper bulwarks both port and starboard. Generous exterior lighting is provided.
The foredeck is another step up at the forward end of the main cabin, and is also teak planked (new in 2008). The foredeck has three generous deck boxes, a 24 volt Ideal windlass, a backup anchor and rode, two more hawseholes, and two VERY heavy duty cleats.

Boat Deck and Upper Deck
The teak planked boat deck is on top of the master cabin and is accessed by a short staircase just aft of the engine room companionway. This is an extremely roomy space and can easily carry tow full-sized tenders. This also has stowage space for the spare anchor, recycling, garbage, etc. etc. etc.
The false stack runs between the boat deck and the upper deck, and cleverly conceals the stairs running from the galley down to the master stateroom. The stack also has more storage space, used for the pressure washer, extra hoses, extra shore power cables, etc. etc. etc.
Going up three more steps, the upper deck provides access to the aft door of the pilothouse and also a great hanging-out space. This also has a 24" propane grill, storage for propane, clothes line, and so on. Again, this is well-lit for night time.

Masts & Boat Handling
Island Eagle has two EXTREMELY robust powder-coated aluminum masts fabricated in 2005. The foremast is used for radar and antennas. The aft mast is equipped with a lifting boom with two 24 volt 2000 pound winches.
